8,400 Euros Collected for Ukrainian journalists

The German network n-ost and the Danish project to support investigative reporting in Eastern Europe SCOOP have managed to raise 8.400 EUR for three important Ukrainian media: the independent tv-station hromadske.tv, the weekly Kyiv Post and the Institute of Mass Information.

Kiev water – not a 100 per cent healthy


From a scientific point of view the water treatment in Kyiv is not up to present international technical standards, but – well – you can brush your teeth and drink a cup….. and get a taste of clorine. So the Ukrainian market for water filters is now 80 million USD and growing at a rate of 30-40 percent per year!


SCOOP is a network and support structure for investigative journalists. SCOOP supports investigative journalism and provides national and international networks for media professionals who are conducting investigations. Since 2003 SCOOP has supported several hundred investigations and facilitated national and international contacts between journalists to investigate across borders and share experiences.
